about me
I’m a New York City–based photographer, born in Seoul and raised in São Paulo before immigrating to the United States. I’m South Korean by blood, Brazilian by upbringing, and defined by the perspective that comes from crossing borders.
As the son of an art teacher, visual storytelling was never optional. Growing up between cultures shaped how I move through the world and how I see it. That sense of movement—geographic and creative—evolved into a decade-long career as a professional model in New York, working across fashion, commercial, and editorial sets. Ten years in front of the lens taught me how light behaves, how energy shifts, and how a moment turns real.
Now I work from the other side of the camera. I shoot with empathy and intention—images that feel composed but not forced, polished but human. Collaboration sharpens the work; I’m energized by creative exchange, by the tension and trust that push an idea further than it could go alone.
I’m always open to building with other creatives—whether it’s a clear concept or just the start of an idea. If you’re looking to make something honest and strong, I’d be glad to connect.
